As our family was being prayed for in church on Sunday, Kari could really feel the presence of God wash over her and the baby. We fully believe God's hands are on this situation, and we continue to look to Him for healing.

We are in the middle of transforming our old home office into a nursery for the baby. We've been refinishing furniture for the room and will soon paint the ceiling and walls. Because it is going to be Will's room, we felt especially led pray and claim God's word there. We decided to write scriptures on the walls of the room, claiming healing and faith. We are inviting family and friends to contribute. Of course, the words will be painted over soon with the redecorating, but we we will continue to believe in them.

The nobleman in John 4:46-54 implored Jesus to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. In verse 50, Jesus said to him, "Go your way; your son lives." So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. The servants met the nobleman and told him, "Your son lives". When Jesus spoke the word, the child was healed!
I was thinking of this specific healing account when you asked for scriptures of faith for the nursery wall that declare God's faithfulness and provision of healing. Verse 53...the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, "Your son lives." And he himself believed, and his whole household.
Your family and our church family remind me of the whole household but also those that will come to the faith because of your love for Jesus. I rejoice in believing God for His provision of healing and that we as believers are alive in Christ! "Your son lives"
Love and prayers,

Matt & Kari,

Thank you for choosing life one more day...

"choose life, that you and your descendants may live and may love the Lord your God, obey His voice, and cling to Him. For He is your life and the length of your days, that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to give to you..." Deut 30:19-20
