The nursery is filling up nicely with scriptures specifically declaring healing and faith. We plan on possibly starting our painting next weekend, so please let us know if you want us to add any verses. It has been uplifting to walk into the room and be surrounded by Truth written on the walls. We have especially needed those words this past week. We both have felt down about the situation, allowing doubts to creep in. Please pray for us for renewed strength and faith. Although school is now back in full swing for both of us and things can be busy, we are going to start our mornings together believing on the scriptures and praying.

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Matt, Kari and Jeff-
Galatian 6:9 tells us... "Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." As I read further in the devotion it states "God is doing a good work in you so HE can do more for you and through you. So ask Him to fill you with Holy determination tonight and keep moving in the right direction." I believe in this message and in the power of the Lord that is being blessed upon you and your family. God's power is greater than any other!
May the Holy Spirit rest in you and upon you every day providing strength and peace!
Love,
Bryan and Jen Vallier

It has been a long time since I visited the blog spot. I just didn't know what to say/ write/ offer. Then, Sam and I were talking the other night and he begged the question: "If God already has our paths set does prayer really change anything?" I didn't really have an answer. I actually began to reason it out. This is exactly what the ENEMY want us to do. Try to reason with God instead of having faith in God and who He is. I turned to the only source for the answer: THE BIBLE. PRAYER IS IMPORTANT AND GOD HEARS AND ANSWERS PRAYERS. He longs for us to pray to Him, to talk to Him, to present our requests to Him.

Sam had the answer that night: we're not supposed to understand how it all works---we're supposed to go to God as a little child. Children go to their parents with requests automatically assuming that the answer will be yes.

I know this was long and I don't even know if it makes sense. Maybe this is not even what you need to hear. But, I felt compelled to share.

The summary: PRAYER WORKS AND PRAY OFFERED IN FAITH AND WITH THANKSGIVING BRINGS BLESSINGS BEYOND COMPARE.

We love you all and will continue to pray and believe that WILL IS HEALED!!!!!
